Don't panic! If you've already made sure that the other person has their sound turned up, you may just need to enable your microphone and camera in the browser:

If it's the student who can't be seen nor heard, the tutor will also need to check they haven't accidentally blocked them from sharing their webcam and/or microphone. To do this:
- Hit the "People" button on the banner at the top of the page:
- Ensure that the student's microphone and camera are enabled (you can also allow them to write on the whiteboard from here):
If you're a student, make sure that your tutor has enabled your microphone in the lesson space!
If you’re on a Mac and using Google Chrome, please try switching to Firefox - unfortunately, there are some known compatibility issues with Google Chrome for iOS and microphone hardware. Hopefully, Google will be working hard to solve this for future!
If you've enabled your microphone in the browser, you're not using Chrome on a Mac and your microphone still isn't working, unfortunately, it sounds like this may be a hardware issue! If possible, try using another microphone.
