It's really important to us that students are able to find great tutors through Tutorful, so not only do we vet tutors initially, we also use lesson feedback from students and the info we have on the lessons our tutors teach to make sure that we're always giving students the very best selection of tutors possible.
To help us do just that, we give each tutor a score in four key areas:
- Your response time indicates how quickly you respond to enquiries
- Your booking score measures how likely students are to book with you after getting in touch
- Your repeat client score which measures how likely students are to make repeat bookings with you
- Your overall review rating is the average star rating you've received from your students
All of the above combine to determine where your profile will appear in our search results in relation to other tutors in your area and subject. This means that great tutors are rewarded for delivering great lessons and a truly professional service!
You'll always be able to see how you're doing in each area from your dashboard and our Education Advisors are available Monday - Saturday to chat through anything you're not sure about, or to offer advice on how to improve in each area if needed.
If your score falls below a certain threshold, we may hide your profile from our search results and limit your access to jobs temporarily, until you're able to improve your tutor scores. Check your dashboard to see which area you'll need to improve, and feel free to drop our Education Advisors an email or give us call if you need any help or advice.
