If you would like to learn more about how to use the online classroom, as well as troubleshooting tips, we are running daily seminars Monday to Friday for both tutors and students! You can see how to join one here.
In the online classroom, there is a screen sharing option which both you and your students can use to share documents on their screen!
To have the best experience when screen-sharing, we would recommend using Google Chrome, as it gives you the option to share either your entire screen, a particular application you have open, or a tab on your browser!
Once you're in the classroom, you'll need to be in either the default or whiteboard only view - you can change this using the toolbox found in the top bar of the classroom, and by selecting either the middle or far right option!
Once you're in either of these views, you just need to then head to the toolbar on the right-hand side of the page, which looks like this:
From here, select the screen share option, which will open a drop-down menu:
You'll need to click the small 'Play' icon next to Start Sharing to begin sharing your screen. Once you have clicked this, you will receive a pop-up window that will ask which screen you would like to share, either your full screen, an application or a tab within your browser!
Select which window you would like to share and then click Share at the bottom. Your student will now be able to see the content!
