If you would like to learn more about how to use the online classroom, as well as troubleshooting tips, we are running seminars at 6pm on Tuesdays and 11am on Thursdays for tutors! You can see how to join one here.
The online classroom has a multiple function content uploading system which allows you to share all sorts of content with your students!
To upload content to the classroom, you'll need to be in either the default or whiteboard only view - you can change this using the toolbox found in the top bar of the classroom, and by selecting either the middle or far right option!
Once in either of those views, you can then click on the Page icon in the bottom right hand corner.
You'll then see a pop up appear, that allows you to add in different things to the classroom, such as Youtube links, verb tables and mathematical symbols. To upload a document, you'll just need to click the cloud icon in the bottom right hand corner of the pop up - this is highlighted below:
If you then click the choose file button, you can select a document from your device, and then you'll just need to click the cloud icon highlighted below - it'll then process for a few seconds (depending on how large the file is), and once it's completed, you can click the green upload button in the same place to add the document to the classroom space!
Alternatively, you can also go to the toolbar on the right-hand side of the page and click on the two sheets of paper with the plus sign at the top:
This will then open a box where you can upload new content! Just select the blue Upload button in the top right-hand corner:
Once you've clicked Upload, you will be asked to fill in the content information and select the content-type:
After you have selected the file type and filled in the file title, just click Save to add this to your classroom - it will automatically pop up in a new tab!
As you can see, you can add PDF files, video files, audio files, YouTube links and lots more to your lessons!
