Following the updates to the government COVID-19 guidelines on the 4th January, Tutorful advocates that all lessons are delivered online, to conform with guidelines and keep our students and tutors as safe as possible.
Government information may be found here: COVID 19 Update
Our main priority is to ensure everyone's safety, and whilst education is hugely important, sadly Tuition is not classed as an essential service.
The tutors association now recommends to all members that tuition is provided online only; this includes study centres. Schools will be shut except for the children of key workers like last time. The tuition exceptions are that vulnerable children and children of critical workers can continue to attend out-of-school settings for face-to-face provision. The definition of “vulnerable” is quite wide and encompasses those from deprived backgrounds and with special needs. “Critical workers” includes NHS staff, Teachers, Social Workers, GPs etc”
We recommend that you move any existing in-person lessons online.
You can do this by booking an online lesson with your student and teaching through our online classroom.
Find out more about our Online Classroom.
If you would like to learn more about using our online classroom and see a demonstration, we are running an online seminar three times a week showing you how it works and answering any questions you may have. You can join a seminar by using the 'Join' button and password shown below at the time that works best for you.
