You can manage your notification settings from your account on either the website or the app! All you need to do to manage your notifications is to click on the account tab once logged in on the site, and then go to the notifications section.
You’ll see that the notifications are grouped into four different categories - Mandatory, Reminders, Messages and Marketing.
In order to make the most of our platform, we do need to send you important notifications, such as ones regarding lesson payments, so we’ll always send you emails to keep you updated for these notifications. However, you can choose if you’d also like to receive mobile notifications as well - these will either be via the app if you’ve downloaded it, or by SMS if not. However, it’s important to say that if a message is a little too long to send as a push notification, we’ll send it to you by SMS instead to make sure you have all the relevant information!
There are also three optional sections for reminder, message and marketing notifications. You can choose whether you’d like to receive email or mobile notifications for reminders and messages, as well as having the option of receiving our marketing emails, such as the Tutor Digest! We’d strongly recommend selecting at least one option for these notifications, as we don’t want you to miss out on messages or important reminders!
You can also manage your notification settings on the go if you’re using our app! To do this, you’ll just need to click on the settings icon in the top corner of the app, and then select the notifications option. You’ll have the same options for your notifications as on the website, so you can tailor your settings to choose how you’d like to hear from us!
