Why is the service fee not the same for all of my lessons?

Tutorful makes money by charging students a service fee for every lesson booked through our platform. Tutors set their own hourly rates, and students pay this amount plus Tutorful’s service fee. Together, these make up the total lesson price displayed on our site.

As the service fee is calculated as a percentage of the lesson fee, the price of the service fee can vary. 

The service fee helps fund:
