What is the service fee and what do you use it for?

Tutorful makes money by charging students a service fee for every lesson booked through our platform. We don't charge tutors. Tutors set their own hourly rates, and students pay this amount plus Tutorful’s service fee. Together, these make up the total lesson price displayed on our site.

The service fee helps fund:
