We can only accept Enhanced DBS checks, the PVG Scheme Record or an Enhanced Access NI check dated within the last two years.
If you have one of these checks, we must have seen a copy before you can claim this on your profile. To do this, log into your account and head to your profile. When in editor mode, you can find an option to upload your background check in the extra information section:
You will need to upload a copy of your certificate to gain background checked status on your account.
We only accept enhanced DBS checks, as standard and basic checks don't provide the level of information we require.
When uploading a photo of your DBS check, please make sure that it is:
- In colour
- Dated within the last two years
- Visible in one photo
If you are on the DBS Update Service:
If you provide us with information to run a check on the DBS Update Service you will need to supply an image of the original certificate as well as we cannot run a check without having seen this.
For us to run a check you will need to provide us with the certificate number, your surname as it appears on the certificate and your date of birth. Please note we need the certificate number, not the Update Service ID number.
