Professional Development

Continuously develop your teaching skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities. Stay updated with Tutorful’s policies to ensure your teaching practices remain effective and compliant.

Lesson setup

Before each session, ensure your technical setup is properly configured by testing your connection, webcam, microphone, and any necessary software. Conduct your sessions in a quiet, private, and well-lit room to minimise distractions and maintain privacy, and keep your camera on throughout to ensure a high level of interaction and engagement

Document Sharing

Ensure any materials shared comply with privacy and copyright laws.

In-Session Communication

Maintain clear and professional communication throughout the session. Use chat functions responsibly, keeping all communication relevant to the tutoring.

Feedback

Offer constructive feedback through the platform’s features, ensuring it is specific, actionable, and supportive.

Time Management

Keep sessions within the scheduled time to respect the student’s and your own time. Allow time for questions and recap important points to reinforce learning.

Personal Conduct Outside of Tutoring

Maintain high standards of personal conduct to reflect positively on both your professional role and Tutorful’s reputation. Be mindful of how your behaviour in public and online can influence student perceptions and trust. Uphold integrity and legality in all personal activities, ensuring that your actions do not compromise your professionalism or the integrity of Tutorful.

Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection
