A set of global financial regulations concerning money laundering and fraud known as KYC (Know Your Customer) mean that we must verify both the identity and billing address of our tutors, in order to comply with these regulations.
There are two ways that you can verify your billing address to make sure that you are paid for your lessons:
UK Driving License
You can verify your address by uploading a copy of your UK driving license to the photo ID section of your account.
Please make sure that the address on your license is the same as your billing address. If you do upload a UK driving license, you won’t need to provide any further documentation.
Additional Document
If you have a passport, or your driving license address does not match your billing address, you will need to provide us with both a photo ID (passport, license) and an additional document to verify your address.
This could be:
- A bank statement
- A utility bill
- A government letter
Your document must be:
- Clearly visible
- In colour
- Dated within the last 6 months
Please be aware that we cannot accept:
- Phone bills
- Council tax bills
- Tenancy or lease agreement
You can see how to upload your proof of address documents here.
